Welcome! In this series I’m going to write about tons of different past life triggers that you can use to help you start the process of conscious past life recall. Yes mah’ friend, you can recall your own past life memories all by yourself without being hypnotized or needing tarot cards (but I'm here if diy isn’t your style ).
But before I get ahead of myself, let’s define what a past life trigger is. A past life trigger is any internal or external stimuli in your life right now that can connect you to a past life memory. This stimuli I’m talking about could literally. be. anything. It could be a certain sound, a specific smell, a particular feeling, touching a certain fabric, seeing a particular animal or visiting a foreign location. These examples I give are super vague because when I say a past life trigger could be anything - it could legitimately be anything you experience or feel in life. ***If something specific came to you while you were reading this paragraph, there’s a good chance that idea could be a past life trigger for you!
To help break this down, I like to categorize these infinite amounts of past life triggering stimuli into the categories of our 5 senses (touch, taste, smell, sound, eye sight). And for this particular post, we’re gonna focus on sound stimuli and talk about how music can help you conscious past life recall - or consciously recall your own past life memories without hypnosis, deep meditation or tarot cards.
Let’s do this!
Grab a pen and paper and write down all of the different types of music you’ve always enjoyed listening to. Feel free to write out certain artists, particular songs or even general music categories. Broaden your search by thinking about all different types of music from all over the world. It could be bagpipes from Scotland, chanting monks from Tibet, the quena flute from South America, ancient drum sounds, etc. The trick here is to focus on the music that was made before you were born. I’m sorry, but Nicki Minaj and Ed Sheeran are probably not going to trigger a past life memory for you.
Out of all the music you’ve written down, which one speaks to you the most? Which type of music resonates the strongest with you? Because this is the type of music that’s going to have the highest affinity for helping to start the conscious past life recall process.
Now it’s time to set the intent. On this same paper you’ve been writing upon, write out an intent to help you focus your attention. Intentions that come from you are going to be the most potent. But if you need help, feel free to copy down the intent below:
In the next coming weeks, listen to that particular song or the specific type of music that spoke to you. Have it going in the background as your work or while you’re doing chores.
The music that you're drawn to is a clue within itself. If you're drawn to speak easy jazz from the early 1920's, then there's a solid possibility that you lived a life in this period. The same goes for intensely resonating with Native American drums and chanting, there's a high affinity that you have a past life as a Native American. If you do start to notice certain feelings and body sensations, close your eyes as you listen to the music. See if you can feel yourself standing in that era. What does the weather feel like around you? Are you inside? Outside?
By simply paying attention to these subtle cues, you are telling your subconscious that you want to know more. By trying this, you're opening up your awareness to recall these memories.
Know that there is no wrong way to do this exercise. Whatever experience that comes up for you is exactly what you need or can most handle in the moment. This process is a skill that does not embody failure. There is no such thing as messing this up or not getting it “right”. Even if multiple attempts produce no specific feelings or bodily sensations, that is OK. This is a great chance to give yourself grace in the moment knowing that you are intuitive and capable of conscious past life recall even if it’s not panning out as planned. An opportunity to love yourself more while listening to music you already enjoy.
I’d love to hear your experiences with this! Feel free to hop on a phone call with me to tell me or reach out through email. I hope this helps and I send you all the love, clarity, and connection you need most in this moment:)
